HUD 2013 Monitoring

How well are we doing? 

That is a legitimate question. Here is one answer. Every five (5) years the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development conducts an in-depth review of TNHA Programs and Procedures, here are the 2013 outcomes:

The TNHA "Report Card" is an "A"

On April 23-25, 2013, the Alaska Office of Native American Programs (AONAP) conducted an on-site monitoring review of the Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG) programs implemented by the Tagiugmiullu Nunamiullu Housing Authority (TNHA). The purpose of the review was to fulfill the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD's) statutory obligation under Section 405 of the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA) and to review performance for compliance with the requirements ofNAHASDA, 25 U.S.C. § 4165.
