Currently, TNHA Construction Services are Actively Working on Projects in Barrow, Anaktuvuk Pass, Kaktovik, Wainwright, Nuiqsut, & Point Hope.
ITEMS OF INTEREST
1st - Any Village emergency work orders for no heat are being worked on or we have provided portable electric heaters or temporary Toyo heat.
2nd – 10 vacant unit renovations throughout 5 villages are under repair or nearly completed.
WORK ORDERS
We have approximately 40 Village repair work orders in progress, with over 2 dozen no heat work orders completed within the last 45 days.
WORK ORDER STRATEGY
We are addressing all TNHA unit no heat situations as they arise.
RENOVATIONS AND MODERNIZATION
Currently, we are in the planning or construction phase of 53 major renovations throughout the NSB (see attached current active projects).
Those 53 do not include the first Village 14 Tribal Rehabs, these are going out for quotes on materials and will begin delivery in March, and the next Barrow 4-plex(TH1) and the 32-unit, are being assessed. We have had inspections by our engineer on the TH1 and 32 unit and will have a report to recommend repairs within the next 60 days.
RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
One unit has been turned over to Occupancy and several are nearing completion.
Barrow – Barrow 4-plex(TH1) and the 32 unit renovation engineering and scope of work assessment in progress.
Nuiqsut – MH 418 has been turned over to Occupancy.
Point Hope – We have 35 pallets of materials staged to be loaded on a DC4 for delivery by end of next week (weather permitting).
Renovation/Modernization PROJECTS Underway
See the attached current active project table to see the renovations planned for this year. 10 of these are have active construction underway and another dozen have materials ordered or in place.
Anaktuvuk Pass
The 2 fire rebuilds, 2023 and 3018 are ~ 75% to 90% complete.
Wainwright
Two mutual help homes in Wainwright are nearing completion; 106 and 1349.
